The hammer mill machine is designed for fine grinding of bulk components such as sugar, salt, spices, herbs, grains, and other similar products. The hammer mill is used for grinding non-oily products with a maximum product moisture content of 5-7%.
Working principle
The principle of the mill operation is based on the product grinding due to rotating hammers. The product falls into the working area from the storage hopper. The hopper has a sliding valve to regulate the flow of the incoming product into the grinding drum. The product is ground inside the drum by rotating hammers, and then, passing through the gauge mesh, enters the bag.
Calibration sieves can be of different diameters depending on product properties and desired fraction. The hammer mill includes three interchangeable sieves in the standard scope of supply. All parts which are in contact with a product are made of food-grade stainless steel.
