Lobe pumps
Lobe pumps (positive displacement rotary pumps) are used for the efficient pumping of viscous liquids. These pumps have a compact design and are highly efficient due to a pair of stable rotors that rotate in opposite directions inside the pump chamber.
Rotary lobe pumps are used to pump products with increased viscosity, such as yoghurt, ketchup, mayonnaise, and other similar product. Lope pumps pump the product by moving it from the inlet to the outlet through the pump chamber with lobes. The principle of operation is based on the synchronous rotation of the pump rotors.
